Terms and Conditions for Purchasing Online Movie Tickets

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of Stratford Cinemas’ website and mobile application (the “Platform”) for purchasing movie tickets and related services. By purchasing tickets through the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. General Terms
1.1. The Platform is owned and operated by Stratford Cinemas (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
1.2. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and any applicable laws or regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not purchase tickets or use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
2.1. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase movie tickets through the Platform. If you are under 18, you may only use the Platform with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
2.2. By agreeing to these Terms, you affirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
3. Account Creation and Security
3.1. To purchase tickets, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
3.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Purchasing Tickets
4.1. All ticket purchases are subject to availability and confirmation of the ticket price.
4.2. The prices of tickets are listed on the Platform and may vary based on time, date, location, and movie. We reserve the right to modify ticket prices at any time without notice.
4.3. Tickets are processed through Veezi, a third-party ticketing provider. You must follow all instructions on the Platform to complete your purchase.
4.4. Payments for tickets are processed through PayPal, a third-party payment processing service. You agree to abide by PayPal’s terms and conditions and privacy policy when using PayPal for your transaction.
4.5. After purchasing tickets, you will receive a confirmation email or SMS containing your ticket(s) and transaction details.
5. Refunds and Cancellations
5.1. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated. In some cases, we may offer refunds or exchanges based on certain circumstances, such as event cancellations or technical issues.
5.2. In the event that a movie is canceled or rescheduled, you may be entitled to a refund or exchange, subject to the terms outlined on the Platform.
5.3. Refund requests must be made within 24 hours of the original purchase or event cancellation.
6. Ticket Use
6.1. Tickets purchased through the Platform are for personal use only and may not be resold, transferred, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent from us.
6.2. You may be required to present identification or proof of purchase when entering the movie theater.
6.3. Tickets are valid only for the date, time, and movie for which they were purchased. Late arrivals may not be permitted to enter the theater once the movie has started.
7. Liability and Disclaimers
7.1. Stratford Cinemas is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from the use of the Platform or the purchase of tickets.
7.2. We are not responsible for any disruptions, delays, or cancellations of the movie screening, including but not limited to technical issues, weather conditions, or force majeure events.
7.3. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy of movie listings, showtimes, or other information provided on the Platform.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
8.1. Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
8.2. By purchasing tickets through the Platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
8.3. Payments are processed by PayPal, and any financial data is subject to PayPal’s privacy and security policies.
9. Changes to Terms
9.1. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the Platform and will be effective immediately upon posting.
9.2. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
10. Governing Law
10.1. These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada.
10.2. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.
